Early Learning Affinity Group

The Promise Neighborhoods Institute at PolicyLink (PNI) is uniquely positioned to improve the quality and quantity of equitable services to support early learning in distressed neighborhoods. Leveraging the expertise and resources of national experts ZERO TO THREE, which has a range of resources and information designed to help communities support children's early learning, PNI works with Promise Neighborhood leaders to put in place programs and policies that ensure all children are able to learn, grow, and succeed. Through webinars and other activities, members can access resources, tools, and coaching from ZERO TO THREE.

Data Affinity Group

The rigorous, ongoing use of data is essential for improving outcomes and opportunities for children, and it is required for Promise Neighborhoods. Data enable organizational partners, practitioners, and neighborhood residents to:

  • Understand their communities more deeply;
  • Make sure the initiative targets the children and families most in need;
  • Design effective interventions, programs, and policies;
  • Track progress and revise strategies as necessary;
  • stablish a “culture of results” so that all children succeed in school, graduate from high school, and obtain a post-secondary education.

The PNI Data Affinity Group connects Promise Neighborhoods to best-practices and strategies for collecting and using high-quality data to track and continuously improve results.
