President Obama released his FY 2014 budget today, and Promise Neighborhoods fans will be pleased to see the inclusion of $300 million for Promise Neighborhoods!

From the horse’s mouth (aka the US Department of Education FY 2014 budget proposal):

“The Budget makes a significant investment in Promise Neighborhoods, funding the program at $300 million, an increase of $240 million over the 2012 enacted level. This initiative supports high need communities that combine effective, cradle-to-career services for children and families with comprehensive reforms centered on high-quality schools.”
