Even though they didn’t win a federal Promise Neighborhood grant this year, the Boyle Heights Promise Neighborhood in Los Angeles is moving forward with implementation.

They’ve taken stock of the hard work to be done, and are creating a strategy to improve outcomes for children and families in their neighborhood without federal funding–the work is just too important to give up!
