Senate’s Draft Omnibus Appropriations Bill Includes $60M for Promise Neighborhoods
If today's proposed Senate omnibus appropriations bill passes, the federal Promise Neighborhoods program will receive $60 million for FY 2011.
The next step as outlined by the Washington Post, is for Senate Democrats "to hold a vote on the omnibus measure this week. If it passes, the House would have to vote next. If it fails in the Senate, the chamber would likely take up the House-passed resolution that simply continues 2010 funding levels."
